We have reserved the Tierra Park Shelter on Tierra Dr. (east off S. 27th and Highway 2), which features parking close to the shelter and is very handicapped accessible. We'll worship at 10:00 a.m. and enjoy a picnic lunch and fellowship following the worship service with fried chicken, drinks, and tableware provided. Bring your lawn chair and a side dish or desserts to share. If there is rain in the forecast, we'll worship and picnic in the church.

Where is God calling you?

If you are seeking a place where you are welcomed and remembered…
A place where you are ushered into worship, fellowship, and service…
A church home that prepares you for life and encourages you to grow in mission and love…

Good Shepherd is the place for you!
Come grow with us.

Pastor Jeff leads new Member Orientation periodically throughout the year. Just touch base with him if you are interested.

During these sessions, we will cover some history of Good Shepherd as well as what we are up to for the Lord right now (including our visio ad mission statement). There will be opportunities to hear from the chairs of our various ministry teams. This is an excellent chance to get a lot of information in a relatively short time about the church so you can make an informed decision about membership. Already a member and just want to sit in? Go ahead and sign up. Sign up located at the table at the back of the sanctuary.

Good Shepherd Presbyterian Mission Statement

Psalm 23:6 “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever.”

Good Shepherd PRESBYTERIAN welcomes you into a place of worship and friendship, where all generations grow together spiritually and strive to be more Christ-like”

A PLACE FOR WORSHIP... Our attention is focused on God, and we give Him all honor, glory and praise.  He is the reason we worship together.  We are grateful for His kind blessings and inspirations.  We recognize that our church building is a wonderful gift from the Lord and we strive to utilize and maintain it for the glory of God.

A PLACE FOR FRIENDSHIP... We value the joy of Christian friendship and offer a warm atmosphere of hospitality. We encourage people to grow friendships and offer many opportunities to build lasting bonds amongst all generations.  We also care deeply for our saints who are now home bound and visit them regularly.

A PLACE FOR LEARNING... The Holy Bible is our rule of faith and life and is alive and relevant today.  We believe that studying the written Word of God is vital.  We offer a variety of opportunities for all generations to grow in knowledge and faith in God.  We operate Little Lambs Child Development Center for the younger saints among us.

A PLACE FOR DISCIPLESHIP... For people of all ages, we offer opportunities to exercise faith by doing through ministry teams focusing on specific areas of disicpleship.

A PLACE FOR SERVICE... Just as Jesus Christ came "not to be served, but to serve..." we accept our responsibility to reach out to others. We strive to be a place where every member has the opportunity to serve.  Mission emphasis includes, but is not limited to, supporting the People’s City Mission, the Eastridge Food Pantry, and the Barnabas Community.  We also engage in world-wide mission service.
